Tom obtained a First Class Honours degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford (Magdalen College). Subsequently, Tom undertook a PhD at the University of Cambridge co-supervised by Professor Wolf Reik and Professor Shankar Bala-subra-manian.

Tom’s PhD was broadly on the development and implementation of novel wet-lab and computational methods aimed at improving our understanding of epigenetics (specifically DNA methylation). This research resulted in Tom authoring a number of high impact publications and two patent filings.

Tom has since founded Chronomics, an epigenetics testing A.I platform to drive the future of personalised wellness. Along with his team at Chronomics, Tom is at the forefront of bringing proactive, personalised and consumer-centric health management to life.
